| Welcome to Su Vino Winery - Presented by Top of the Barrel |
 |
Su Vino Winery, founded in 2003, is a family owned and operated Texas winery located in the historic downtown of Grapevine, Texas which is just a few miles from the DFW airport. Su Vino is an award winning winery in Texas with a twist, not only have we won over 50 medals for our wines, but we were the first custom winery located in Texas and in the Southwest.
Su Vino means “Your Wine” in Italian and Spanish and we use an open hand as our logo. The hand represents the skill and dedication of the craftsman, the uniqueness of the individual, and the friendliness of an open palm. As a custom winery, not only do we make our own Texas wines for sale by the bottle where we specialize in unique and interesting varietals and blends, but we can customize a wine to your palette. In addition, you get to participate in the winemaking process by bottling and corking your wine and placing your own personalized label on the wine which then makes perfect holiday gifts, business promotional items, wedding favors, or just to have in your own cellar.
Our sophisticated yet fun tasting room makes an ideal location for corporate mixers, team building meetings, or customer appreciation events. We also have held numerous birthday parties, bridal showers, anniversaries and other events. Being located adjacent to DFW airport and close to both Dallas and Fort Worth, we are perfectly situated for your event. Our knowledgeable staff is ready to help you plan the perfect event.
We also strive to make wine more fun and friendly by breaking down the barriers of wine speak and wine snobbery. We hold educational sessions to help people get more comfortable with wine and we are all about trying new wines in new ways. Our friendly staff is always willing to share a recommendation of their favorite wine or restaurant. Because of our great staff, we have even been named one of the “Best Places to Work” by the Dallas Business Journal.
We invite you to come and join us for some Texas hospitality and to taste our wines. We think you’ll agree with D Magazine that named us as “Best Grapes” in 2003.
Cheers!

“I just wanted to let you all know how much fun my guests and I had at the wine party this last Saturday. The staff were great! They were all very friendly, and fun to have around. The food was wonderful! I look forward to drinking the wine that we bottled that evening over the next few years.”

"Thanks for such an amazing evening at Su Vino. Cory welcomed us just as if we were visiting him at his home. He made us feel comfortable right away and immediately won us over. The ambience, the décor and of course the wines…all put together created a great environment in which to relax and enjoy the evening after a long day of work, and even travel for some (we had people in town from California, Massachusetts, Florida, etc.).
Cory deserves a big A+ for service and attention to detail. We enjoyed ourselves very much and look forward to our next visit with more friends."
Sincerely,

What do Most Events Include?
Su Vino Winery will work with you to create the atmosphere and event you want. At most events, the group will be greeted with a gourmet catered selection of finger foods and desserts; however we can tailor the menu to your needs. Guests will also have a choice of wines to enjoy for the evening. Finally, guests can bottle their own bottle of wine to take home with them to commemorate the event. The host will choose the custom labels that will be placed on these bottles. We also have other items that you can customize to give to guests such as wine bags.
Can We Change the Event to Fit Our Needs?
Absolutely! If you want to host a blind tasting, wine education course, or include a wine trivia contest our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide the group through a fun filled evening of excitement and learning. We can even host a breakfast meeting with coffee and pastries followed by a group bottling. If there are other things you would like to include, just talk to a friendly Su Vino Family Member and they would be happy to help plan your ideal event. We can be reached at (817) 424-0123.
Can Events be Held After Your Normal Business Hours?
Yes. Most events are held after business hours to provide you with the most personalized service possible, but we can also accommodate morning or afternoon events. We can host everything from a morning team building session to a sophisticated evening party. Whatever your event calls for Su Vino Winery can accommodate your needs.
How Many People Can Your Winery Hold?
We can comfortable accommodate up to 40 people in a party setting. If your group is larger than that, please talk to a Su Vino Winery Family Member about some options that might be available for you.
How Far in Advance do I Need to Book an Event?
The further in advance you book your event the better so as to get your preferred date. Also booking further in advance gives you more options on the wine you can have bottled at your event. Most of our wines take four to six months to prepare for bottling, so by booking early you can choose from nearly all of our wines. However, if you can’t book that early, we still will have several wines that you can choose from to bottle for you event.
How Do I Reserve an Event at Su Vino Winery?
Just call a Su Vino Winery Family Member. We would be happy to check on the winery’s availability and create the perfect event for your group. We can be reached at (817) 424-0123.

What a beautiful rose indeed! This wine has captivated the judges at every competition that it’s entered and has garnered five medals to date. An Italian style signature blend that explodes with black cherries and has notes of chocolate, spice and oak on the finish. Complex yet elegantly simple, robust yet smooth, this is not your typical red. After a few sips you’ll be shouting “Grazie! Grazie!”

“A Texas Sweetheart” Created in honor of Grandma Ruby, who’s doctor told her to drink red wine for her heart. However, she didn’t like the dryness of the typical red wine, so she’d pour it over some sugar cubes to sweeten it up. After, the first few days of drinking her wine she’d tell people she had a hard time making it from the kitchen to the bedroom after her nightly “glass” of wine, which turned out to be a big Tupperware tumbler. Way to go, Grandma Ruby! Ruby is our red wine for the non-red wine drinker and also is a perfect wine for summer barbecues as it goes well with burgers, chicken, ribs and even hot dogs.

A Chardonnay where you can actually taste the fruit instead of just oak. Luscious tropical and citrus fruit make your mouth come alive on the first sips and then it finishes with a hint of vanilla and carmel. This well balanced white has just a touch of sweetness. If you’re tired of the typical everyday over-oaked Chardonnay try this one!

As melodious as a Mozart concerto! The Symphony grape featured here is a duet between Grenache Gris and Muscat of Alexandra. Add in notes of mango and citrus fruit and you have the perfect melody of flavors. One of our newest compositions, everybody has been singing the praises of this wine.
